Football stadiums are not far behind to increase in their popularity as to the games or players. Since many years almost all the teams have reconstructed their stadiums for their own even some of are destroyed. You can found many stadiums in every corner of the America for some of the best games to be played. Super Bowl is also known as the most important game of the season which has been played in many stadiums over the years in the American stadiums since 1967. Even the NFL has planned who will host the game up to the year 2010.
In 1967 the first Super Bowl was held at the LA Coliseum. After that, four of the next five games were played at the Orange Bowl stadium also. This Super Bowl game was held in 1970, 1972, and 1975 at the Tulane stadium. The actual one stadium that seems to have the Super Bowl on a regular basis is the Orange Bowl. The Orange Bowl hosted the Super Bowl for over ten years almost in every two years. The Miami and Minnesota game was once hosted by the Rice Stadium to the Super Bowl in 1974. In fact the Rose Bowl stadium has also been hosted the played game for five times in 1977, 1980, 1983, 1987, and 1993 respectively. Even the Superdome stadium has also hosted the game five times which is situated in Texas. There are some other stadiums that have hosted the Super Bowl such as Jack Murphy Stadium, Stanford, Joe Robbie Stadium, Tampa, Georgia Dome, Sun Devil Stadium, Qualcomm Stadium, Pro Player Stadium, Raymond James Stadium, Reliant Stadium, Alltel Stadium, and Ford Field. Except from these stadiums the Dolphins Stadium, Cardinals Stadium, Raymond James Stadium are planned to host the biggest game of the season in the next few years also. The football stadiums that host the Super Bowl game are always constantly evolving though the big game has moved around a lot. They are always tend to changing to be bigger, better, and more honorable than the past stadiums. The stadiums hold so much history that even though they may be expanded; they always carry the spirit and memories of the game and players that has graced the field. Even after the years their biggest successes or failures that have in their past memories will never fade away. |
